new year, old wishes

I met up with a few old friends during the holidays. It did feel like old times. We were laughing out loud before we even sat down. Nice break from the rigid few months we had all had before that. Just goes to show we hadn't lost it; we had lost each other.

I have had a few very busy years of growing, intense, rapid growing. I love the things I learnt and the ways I changed. But this year may of my resolutions have to do with going back and doing more of what used to make me happy, because they still do. I may even start writing regularly. It takes me to a calm place and that's always good in a year of transitions.
